Finally the Hawkesbury Comleroy Road locality had a cricket team called 'Comleroy Road Cricket Club'.
The Windsor and Richmond Gazette Cricket Report on Saturday 19 September, 1896 reported that the Comleroy Road Cricket Club played Castlereagh and won by 28 runs. Team members included Buckingham, TW McMahon, E Dobell, C Smith, A Matheson, W Butler, Granger and A Butler. Similar reports can be found in the 5 September, 1896 and 26 September, 1896 issues of this paper. |
